How you unconsciously Rob yourself of a Healthy Heart

Statistics has it that most people encounter major health issues after their 40s or 50s. In a few years time, you will see many youths suffering from some of these same ailments because of unhealthy diet and lifestyle choices. As a matter of fact, it is believed that cardiovascular diseases top the list of the major causes of bereavement today. Whether you will suffer the same fate is a matter of choice though. You have the opportunity of averting such heartbreaking experiences. Because the cardiovascular system is what supplies food and oxygen to the different parts of your body, keeping it healthy is therefore the key to living a long and energetic life. The best way to achieve that is exercise. Remember, leading an inactive lifestyle is one of the biggest factors that trigger heart disease. Its effects can be compared to smoking and high cholesterol levels.

By all means, vigorous exercise significantly minimizes the chances of you succumbing to a heart attack. Besides safe guarding you from heart attack and stroke, exercise also helps prevent many others maladies such as diabetes, some cancers, and even mental decline. Moreover, you can cut down on some years from your age by just giving way to sweat on a regular basis. In the past, the human body and the complex systems that regulate it functioned under terms that are different now. Going in an empty tummy was a common thing and strength was the most essential element to survival. Natures rules were not written for todays era of fast foods and sedentary lifestyle. Today, people are spending long hours at work. When it comes to weekends, they are stuck on the television. The formula that worked for your survival has a different impact in todays world. It is tuned to head to a slow and relentless decay.

Fortunately, the human body is designed in a way that it is able to renew itself. When to turn on your internal switch is what you should often ask yourself. Thats the same way exercise dramatically fends off the risk of a heart attack. Your heart will be protected in spite of the abusive lifestyle you take. Paradoxically, there is seldom any relationship between heart attacks and the condition of your heart. The truth is that most of it is dependent on your circulation. Now, this is the way you mess up your circulatory system. Feasting on foods saturated in fat while leading an inactive life. This builds up deposits called plaques on the walls of your arteries. These deposits keep piling over decades like gunk inside an old pipe until a time when it decides to just crack.

Whenever you are involved in some form of exercise and sweat, you exert your muscles; rob them of energy stores which eventually hurt them. This damage though is often short lived, and stimulates repair and growth, thereby making your muscles a little stronger. On top of healthy food, exercise is needed to heal those battered and wounded blood vessels. Apparently, the reaction will change from inflammation to repair of muscle tissue. As your body gets healthier and stronger, you add more years to your life. A regular schedule of exercise will change your life drastically and boost the quality of your health. You will not feel as old as your real age. You dont want to post pone doing what is right for you now.
