Its Possible to Have Flat Abs at Old Age.

Generally speaking, exercise doesnt seem to be a thing for women. Many people are likely to concur with this notion. Women seem to have unique life reasons that may not allow them to routinely workout. Birth of a child, marriage, single parenthood, new job, divorce, job stress, not to mention, time are some the reasons why women are less involved in exercise. How women prefer spending their free time comes to the equation too. After a long days work and childcare, most of them prefer to spend their free time with family and friends, relaxing, and taking a rest. This does not suggest that men get the better deal in life since they have their own load to carry. Studies have however proved that women tend to have a harder time to exercise on a regular basis.

There is a lot in store for women if they took on exercise on regularly. Some of the benefits they can reap are: a drop in their estrogen levels, decline in body fat, and production of a healthier body mass index. A package of these factors can significantly help women reduce the risk of contracting breast cancer and other weight-related diseases.

At some point in their lives, women go through the process of child-rearing. This process has a very significant impact on their physical bodies especially on their bellies and arms. The belly bulges while the arm gets flabbier when a woman is pregnant. This doesnt change much even after they have already given much attention to it. As mothers advance in age, they may want to get back the pre-pregnancy body that they once enjoyed. They vigorously work on their abs and tirelessly do stomach crunches during their free time. This however, may not be as easy as it sounds.

Many people think that achieving flat abs is just a matter of doing sit ups and crunches. Yes, these two forms of exercise can help you get a flat stomach. For them to be effective though, you need to cut down some excess body weight beforehand. You basically have to lose weight before you can actually tone your muscle area. The best you can do to achieve faster results is to find an exercise that can help flatten your stomach and at the same time help you lose weight. You can try and engage in jogging or walking. If the walking is done vigorously, you burn calories and fats hence reducing the size of you tummy.

A regular aerobic workout at least three times a week can be effective for you to get a flat stomach. You could take advantage of some free time most mothers get when their children start schooling. Use some of this time to do some exercise. Twenty minutes a day is enough. Its worth it. Besides cutting down the size of our belly, it will also help you boost your metabolism.

Keep in mind the following basic principles when starting an exercise program.

1.You need to ensure that you follow the movements precisely or you will just end up working on the group of muscles. If necessary, get pictures and ask for help from a reliable source.

2.Take control of yourself when performing the exercises.

3.Breath right i.e. Dont hold your breath, inhale when lowering a weight or relaxing and exhale when raising a weight or exert. When it comes to an abdominal crunch, breathe in when coming down and breathe out while raising your head and shoulders.

4.Take one step at a time to avoid doing too much too soon. Moderate-intensity activity is going to make you breathe harder, make your heart beat faster, and likely make you sweat more.

5.Keep on your routine. Exercise is effective if done regularly. Divide your time and you will see that when you add it up, you get what you want without hassle.
